This kind of embossed teacup has two series. One is Ge kiln teacup, the other is Ru kiln teacup, which are both made of ceramic in Dehua county, Fujian province.The cup rabbet of Ge kiln series is like lotus petals and the bottom is embossed with hand-drawing lotus,making the whole cup looks just like a blossoming flower. And the base is made of purple clay with hand-drawn peony, which means wealth and lucky. The cup rabbet of Ru kiln is like ryoka petals and this series have two colors: silver white and  lavender grey. It touches silky and looks bright and smooth. Its pure color and luster give a sense of elegance and peace.
