Xinyang Maojian, also called Yu Maofeng, is a king of green tea category. Its a specialties of Henan province, produced by chinese tea farmers in the early repulican period. Main producing area in xinyang, hsin-hsien, shangchengcounty and in dabie mountain area. Xinyang maojian tea has a unique style that "thin, round, smooth, straight, more pekoe, fragrance, taste thick, presenting green". The tea could relieve thirst and fatigue, bright eye, refreshing, to eliminate greasy, and other nutritional value. Xinyang Maojian has unique character in its color, aroma, tastes and shape. As we seen that its color is fresh, clean, without any impurities, elegant fragrance, pure and fresh, and also its taste sweet. Also if we look from the appearance, the tea also very even, bright, baekho evidently. Its effect on physical fitness and life has great value in use. Mao Jian is produced among the misty mountains of Zhejiang, Anhui and Henan provinces and literally translates as 'hairy tip'bor 'fur tip'. This is from Zhejiang and has a bright, fresh, clean and rounded character that is refreshing and suits any mood at any time of the day. The long, neat twists of dark, seaweed-green leaf give a vivid, pale lime-green liquor with a complex, slightly sappy aroma and a brisk clean taste that combines dry grass back notes and sweeter floral tones in the foreground.
Brewing Tips
Brew 3g (0.10 oz) in 250ml (8.5fl oz) water at 70°C (158°F) for 3 minutes. Add more water for a second infusion.
