The purple-clay tea set have a very compact and hard base and is in the color of natural mud. The firing temperature of purple-clay is around 1100 to 1200 degrees. It does not absorb water or moisture in the air. Knocking on the clay will generate a husky and long-drawn-out sound. It can endure both low and high temperatures and can ensure the purity of the tea's flavor without bringing in a weird cooked flavor. As the material conducts heat very slowly, it is unlikely to scald your hands while boiling tea and it won't crack either.
