Character
'Congou' comes from the Chinese word Kungfu, which has to do with skill and dedicated learning. Congou teas all consist of carefully made, neat, unbroken black leaf. Rose Congou is blended with dried pink rose petals to give a powerfully fragrant aroma and a warm coppery infusion that is smooth, mellow and gently flavoured with sweet roses.
Brewing Tips
Brew 2.5g (0.09oz) in 200ml (7fl oz) water at 100°C (212°F) for 3-4 minutes. Strain and add more water for one or two further infusions.
